Exercise of activities permitted by law and professional law for tax consulting firms pursuant to § 33 in conjunction with § 57 sec. 3 StBerG, in particular: - advice and representation in tax matters; - assistance in the fulfilment of tax obligations; - advice and assistance in accounting and accounting matters; - conducting financial and other business audits, to the extent permitted for tax consultants; - start-up advice; - other advice in economic matters in the broadest sense with the exception of legal advice; - expert work; - safeguarding of foreign interests in economic matters; - fiduciary activity. Excluded, however, are trustee transactions concerning the acquisition and sale of securities for others and the management and safekeeping of securities for others as well as transactions pursuant to the Act on Investment Companies. Further excluded are other activities that are not compatible with the profession of tax advisor, in particular commercial activities within the meaning of § 57 sec. 4 no. 1 StBerG, such as commercial and banking transactions.
